Quick start

Set up Katana ✨ on your server in a few minutes.

    Invite the bot

    Click Add Katana ✨ to a server and pick the guild you want. You need the Manage Server permission for Discord to let you complete the OAuth flow. Once authorised the bot lands in your server and is immediately listening for the default + prefix.

    Sign in to the dashboard

    Visit the home page and click Sign in with Discord. Authorise the identify guilds scopes so we can list the servers you manage. You'll land on a tile grid of every guild Katana is in where you have Manage Server.

    Wire up the basics

    Pick a server, then walk the section nav: Prefix (change the trigger character), Commands (toggle commands or whole categories, add prefixless aliases), Logs (route each event type to a destination), Autoroles (roles granted on join).

    Customise & share

    Build a role menu with the visual editor for self-assignable roles. Tell your members about a few go-to commands using the reference. +help, +avatar, +marry and +ship are usually the first ones people try.
